This year 6 graduates from Countryside Properties will be competing in the Hope Challenge!

The challenge involves a weekend in the Peak District, competing with teams from the property sector. On the Friday we are challenged to build a shelter that is made from sustainable materials from site, that we will then sleep in for 2 nights. On the Saturday we are challenged to complete a 20-30 kilometre trek through the Hope Valley with mental challenges along the way.

We are taking part in this challenge to raise money for Habitat for Humanity, one of the world’s leading shelter charities that works in all corners of the globe to build safe environments where families and communities can thrive. So far they’ve worked in 70 countries, built more than 1 million homes and helped over 10 million people through projects such as:

· Housing the orphans and disabled in Lesotho

· Setting up refugee camps in Lebanon

· Building emergency housing in Haiti

· Funding clean water projects in Delhi

· Building affordable homes in the UK
