Oral diseases affect around 3.5 billion people around the world, hitting the poorest and most disadvantaged populations hardest.

We are a small UK based training charity working in partnership with dental professionals, dental associations and governments in East Africa to train local dentists and dental therapists to train health care workers to be able to offer safe emergency dental treatment to their communities. We also train community health workers in oral health promotion, and in delivering community-based oral health education programmes . The work is focused in deprived areas - especially remote and rural ones.
