Ellie's BIG Birthday

My Story

It's my BIG birthday approaching and I have been asked what I would like for my birthday and my response has been, nothing, I don't need anything. Most of all I have my health (it was touch and go many years ago!) and am surrounded by wonderful family and friends and all my extended family in Africa and India that I have spent the last 12 years funding and supporting. There is truly nothing that I need, but millions of kids in this world are in need of a home, nutrition, medicines, education, hope, love and respect.

As you know I run Arms Around The Child to support children living in extreme adversity, affected by HIV/AIDS, orphaned, abandoned, abused, trafficked and living in child headed households. These kids mean the world to me; watching them grow and flourish with our help and love reminds me of a great quote from a former Porstmouth dweller  “No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” – Charles Dickens. It would mean the world to me if you could make a donation in leiu of gifts and cards to support our work. All levels of donations, one off or monthly will make a huge difference as all the funds we raise through public donations goes directly to the cause.
